Ingredients

Serves 4 servings
  • 7 ozpasta (about 200 grams)
  • 4 cupsbroccoli florets (about 400 grams)
  • 3.5 ozsmoked bacon (about 100 grams)
  • 1garlic clove
  • as neededExtra virgin olive oil,
  • as neededSalt,
  • as neededBlack pepper,

Steps

20 minutes
  1. 1

    Cut the broccoli into small florets. Rinse and blanch them in salted water for about 10 minutes.

  2. 2

    In a nonstick skillet, sauté the garlic in olive oil. Add the broccoli and bacon, and cook for 3-4 minutes. Lightly mash the broccoli with a fork to help combine the ingredients.

  3. 3

    Meanwhile, cook the pasta in the broccoli cooking water and drain it while still al dente.

  4. 4

    Add the pasta to the skillet with the sauce and cook for 2-3 minutes. If you like, sprinkle with grated cheese.
