Ingredients

2 servings
  1. For spinach pakoda : 1 cup besan
  2. 2 tbsprice flour
  3. 1/4 tsphaldi
  4. 1/4 tspred chilli powder
  5. 1/4 tspsalt
  6. 1/4 tspajwain
  7. 1/4 tspbaking soda
  8. 1/2 cupwater
  9. 12spinach leaves
  10. For chaat : 1/4 cup curd (whisked)
  11. 4 tspimli ki chutney
  12. 4 tspgreen chutney
  13. 1/4 tspchaat masala
  14. 1/4 tspred chilli powder
  15. 1/4 tspjeera powder
  16. 1/4 tspdry mango powder
  17. 1/2onion (finely chopped)
  18. 1/2tomato (finely chopped)
  19. Pinchsalt
  20. 1/4 cupnylon sev
  21. 2 tbspFresh coriander (finely chopped)

Steps

  1. 1

    Firstly, in a bowl take besan and rice flour, add all spices and mix well.

  2. 2

    Add water and mix well. Mix the mixture to make a smooth and lump free thick batter.

  3. 3

    Dip the spinach leaves in the prepared gram flour solution. Fry this leaf in hot oil.

  4. 4

    Stir occasionally and fry till golden and crisp on both the sides.

  5. 5

    Take out the pakoda on tissue paper. Place the palak pakoda on a plate.

  6. 6

    Pour 1 tbsp curd, 1 tsp imli ki chutney and green chutney over it.

  7. 7

    Also sprinkle a pinch of chaat masala, cumin powder, aamchur powder, chilli powder.

  8. 8

    Then pour 3 tbsp over it. Add onion and tomato.

  9. 9

    Again add 1 tsp imli chutney and green chutney.

  10. 10

    Finally, palak chaat is ready to be served.
