Fried Rice is what we enjoy most and if it’s a weekend, it’s to die for as it’s easy to cook, healthy and can be both veg or non veg as per choice. But, how about making it coloured and having Blue Fried Rice. Well, I just did and voila! What a great lunch it was

Fried Rice is what we enjoy most and if it’s a weekend, it’s to die for as it’s easy to cook, healthy and can be both veg or non veg as per choice. But, how about making it coloured and having Blue Fried Rice. Well, I just did and voila! What a great lunch it was

In a heavy bottomed pan add water and bring it to boil, add pea flower and boil for 2-3 mins, discard flower.

Add soaked rice and cook covered for 10 mins on low flame. Discard water

In a pan heat oil, add chopped garlic, chopped ginger, chopped spring onion white and stir on high for 1 min. Add cubed carrots, blanched corns and stir for 2 mins

Add cooked rice, salt, pepper powder, peas and stir well
- 5
Add half of fried garlic and half of chopped spring onion greens. Stir to get the rice coated well and set aside

Plate and garnish with rest of fried garlic, rest of chopped spring onion greens. Enjoy 😊
