Steps
- 1
Place a pot on the stove and pour in the oil. Fry the chopped onions and onion rings until golden. Add salt and all the spices, then add the chicken pieces. Let them fry well, turning occasionally. Reduce the heat. Wash the rice thoroughly and soak it in water for about an hour. Pour boiling water over the chicken broth, cover, and let it cook until nearly done.
- 2
Drain the chicken and place it in a baking dish. Brush with ghee or a little butter and roast in the oven. Strain the chicken broth and drain the rice from the water. Let it cook until done. Add the Knorr chicken bouillon cube.
- 3
Note: Add a teaspoon of salt to the rice. After cooking, serve on a plate after 10 minutes.
- 4
Note: Monitor the rice to prevent sticking or breaking. Use gentle stirring. The water-to-rice ratio should be appropriate; for example, each cup of rice needs about 1 1/2 to 2 cups of water. Enjoy your meal!
- 5
Note: You can add chicken spices to the dish if Kabsa spices are not available.
- 6
