Steps
- 1
In a deep bowl add maize flour, wheat flour, salt, ajwain, and oil, mix all ingredients thoroughly, add water in small portions & knead stiff and tight dough. Keep aside for 20 to 25 minutes.

Grease hands with some oil & knead the dough again. Make small balls from the dough. Take one ball, grease it with some oil & roll it into a round shape.
- 3
Grease the rolling board, place the dough ball over it, and roll out the pooris a little thick.
- 4
Heat oil in a wok, gently slide the rolled poori in oil, and deep fry, fry the poori until it gets golden brown in colour
- 5
Likewise, fry the rest of the pooris. Super delicious and lip-smacking Makka ki pooris are ready
- 6
Serve these crispy hot pooris with sarso ka saag or aloo matar ki sabzi or any other sabzi that you relish eating the most.
