Prawns in Methi with potatoes

Steps

Clean, wash, and chopped methi leaves

Devein, wash and marinade prawns and set aside. Chop remaining ingredients like potatoes, onions, tomatoes, and green chili.

In a pan heat oil, add chopped onion, and sauté till translucent. Then add ginger-garlic paste and cook till the raw smell goes.

Next, add tomatoes and green chilies. Sauté till tomatoes as soft and mushy.

Now add red chili powder, coriander powder, and turmeric and sauté for some time till the masalas are combined well & cook well. (You can a bit of water so that the masalas don’t burn)

Once the masalas is well cooked, add the potatoes and further cover, and cook till the potatoes are cooked.

Once the potatoes are well cooked add the methi and some water, cover, and cook till the methi is well done.

Now once the methi leaves are cooked well, we will finally add the marinade prawn and cook for a few minutes (Don’t overcook prawns as they will turn rubbery and chewy)

Lastly, add cumin powder and garam masala powder, mix well and turn off the stove.

Your Prawns in Methi with potatoes are ready to serve. Serve hot with roti or parathas and a dash of lime juice
