Dhaniya Chicken is a bliss for chicken lovers as it is an excellent preparation bursting with flavours.
Chicken is cooked in fresh Coriander leaves and spiced with few basic condiments.

Assemble ingredients for marination

In mixer jar, add roughly chopped coriander + green chilli + 3 tbsp curd and grind into smooth paste for chicken marination.

Marinade chicken with the prepared green paste and add salt +ginger garlic paste + cumin powder + coriander powder + 2 tsp red chilli powder + 2 tbsp Curd and marinade for 3-4 hours in refrigerator.

Assemble ingredients for curry

Heat oil add cumin seeds + cardamom + cloves + cinnamon + pepper corns and allow to crackle, then add chopped onion and sauté till golden brown.

Then add marinaded chicken, cover and cook for 8 - 10 minutes under medium flame, chicken will release water. Check chicken have cooked or not.

Gradually water evaporates, add Garam Masala + sugar + salt (if required) and stir fry for around 2 minutes. Then add water and simmer for 6-7 minutes under medium flame. Add Malai / cream and simmer for 1-2 minutes.

Then keep in stand by mode for 1-2 minutes.

Dish is done and ready to serve.

Serve with hot plain rice or naans
