A simple yet a divine recipe. Nothing can get any simpler than this. The combination of the 3 ingredients used in this dish is so very amazing and it just blends around so perfectly that one cannot stop drooling over this Vegetarian dish. It is the most loved dish in the Season and our family's favourite. It's an excellent side dish to many an important meals.
It can also be an amazing Lunchbox idea. Children as well as the adults would love it for sure because it has Potatoes in it. Potatoes are everyone's favourite and this lovely Vegetable blends with any and every other Vegetable so very well that it can be relished by all. In this particular variation, two Leafy Greens are used. One is Spinach Greens or Paalak and the other being the fresh Dill Greens or Suvaa. These two Green Vegetables are incorporated into a single dish with the third ingredient which is none other than Children's favourite called the Potatoes.
The medley is so yummy. It goes well alongside both Rice and Rotis. The colour and the texture both are super delicious. Let's get going.

Steps
- 1
Wash and chop the spinach and dill leaves. Wash and peel the potatoes and cut as desired.
- 2
In a pan, heat oil and add ginger garlic paste. Also add the cumin seeds. Let it splutter a little. Saute it for a few seconds and then add the sliced onions. Saute them for a minute or a little more and then add the green chillies and potatoes along with the powdered spices as well. It is better if you deep fry the potato cubes for 3 to 4 minutes and then add.
- 3
Now add both the greens and cook on a high flame for a few minutes till the water dries from the spinach. Cover and cook on a medium flame till done. Keep stirring in-between. That's it. Serve piping hot at mealtimes. Yum!
