This Matar Paneer curry is prepared with a twist from the regular preparation.
It is prepared with all shahi ingredients like Milk, Ghee, Cashew and whole Garam Masala.
Served with Laccha Paratha .

It is prepared with all shahi ingredients like Milk, Ghee, Cashew and whole Garam Masala.

Steps

Assemble all ingredients, soak cashews for 2-3 hours.

Assemble all other ingredients. Make a smooth paste of tomato + soaked cashews + green chilli + ginger.

Marinade paneer cubes with salt and marinade for 10 minutes, then fry till golden brown and keep aside.

In same pan, add all whole spices and sauté for 1 minute or till turns aromatic.
Then add ginger garlic paste and sauté for 1 minute. Then add onion and sauté till golden brown.

Then add tomato paste + little salt and sauté for 1-2 minutes, then add dry spices like turmeric + coriander + red chilli powder + salt + 2 tbsp water and stir fry for 4-5 minutes or till spices release oil and turns aromatic.

Add green peas, mix well and stir fry for 2 minutes, then add milk.
Mix well and give 2-3 times boil under medium flame by stirring continuously. - 7
Milk is added and cook for around 2 minutes. Add Garam Masala + sugar + salt as required and mix well. Cook for around 2-3 minutes.

Add chopped coriander + Kasuri Methi, simmer and cook for 2 minutes.

Serve with phulka / paratha/ naan / kulcha.
