Dawood Basha Kofta is truly a dish fit for a pasha, and I absolutely love it! This time, I made it with potatoes.

First, make the kofta:
In a food processor, blend the onion, potato, and garlic. In a large bowl, combine the ground meat with the blended vegetables, flour, and all the spices. Mix very well. Shape the mixture into balls and place them on a greased baking sheet. Bake until cooked through and browned. - 2
Next, make the sauce:
In a pot, melt the ghee or butter with the lamb fat cubes (if using). Add the grated onion, garlic, and chili pepper, and sauté together. Add the remaining ingredients and simmer until the sauce thickens and the salt is adjusted.
Add the cooked kofta balls and fried potato cubes to the sauce, gently stir, and let them simmer together briefly. Turn off the heat. That's it! - 3
Serve with white rice. Enjoy!
