A stunning favourite of all of us, this becomes even more delightful and beautiful if it's done in almost half the time in a Pressure Cooker. The cooking time as well as the grating work is reduced to a large extent and you end up in making an equally delicious Halwa. That too, in half the time as well. With this easy way, we definitely would love to make it every now and then. Relish this super awesome Indian Dessert that is a great addition to any dining table and a perfect after-meal Dessert any time of the year around.
And it's a must have one in the Season. It's a connoisseurs delight in Winters. Red Carrots from Delhi that are available aplenty in Winters are used in this lip-smacking and scrumptious Indian Dessert par excellence. It's actually a full meal and enjoyed for Breakfast with Pooris, a wonderful aftermeal Dessert or even in weddings, special occasions and Festivals as well.

Steps
- 1
Wash and peel the carrots before chopping them up into small pieces. Heat ghee in a pressure cooker and saute them for 2-3 minutes. Add milk and cook for 7-8 whistles.
- 2
After the pressure has completely settled down, open the lid and add the rest of the ingredients to it. Except the mawa. Keep it for the later use.
- 3
Now saute on a medium to high heat until ghee starts leaving the sides. Keep stirring in between at regular intervals just to ensure that it does not stick or get burnt. It usually takes 30 minutes since it needs to be sauteed well. Moreover the quantity also matters. Therefore it has to be done patiently.
- 4
Keep stirring and do not leave it unattended. Be careful about it as it splashes a lot during the whole process.
- 5
After done, add in crumbled mawa to it. I added fresh cream to it. Mix well and that's it. Garnish with some more of your favourite nuts on top before serving.
- 6
Serve it warm or cold as loved by your families and friends.
