Mumbai and Bhel both are synonymous. One cannot resist this streetfood if we are in the city. It's an absolutely amazing one when sudden hunger pangs strike you or when you feel like having something chatpata. Something like Bhel which has all the perfect combinations in terms of taste, flavour, aroma and texture. An all time hit with my folks. This is an absolute delight on any day.
Made with Puffed Rice with Onions, Green Chillies, Tomatoes and Coriander Leaves along with a few simple spices, Chutneys, Peanuts and Sev, this one actually rocks.
If you have the Chutneys ready it becomes a child's play to whip it up. Easy and delicious with no efforts at all. That's the beauty of this versatile dish which is enjoyed in many ways than just one. This one here is a dry one with lesser amount of Chutneys and hence the name Sukha or Dry.

Steps
- 1
Roast the puffed rice or murmura in a tablespoon of oil to make them crisp and crunchy. Add a pinch or two of the turmeric powder to the oil as well. However it's optional. You can add the puffed rice directly too.
- 2
Add in all the ingredients in a wide bowl including the coriander leaves. Mix all the ingredients well. You can use lemon juice instead of amchur powder. And you are ready to enjoy this mouth watering snack !
- 3
Just toss everything well and that's it. You can serve it immediately. Enjoy! Yum!
