Ingredients

15 to 20 mins
3 to 4 servings
  • 1 cupWhole Wheat Flour
  • 3/4 cupBajra Flour
  • 2-3 tbspBesan (optional)
  • 3/4 cupMethi or Fenugreek Leaves
  • 2 tbspChopped Fresh Green Coriander Leaves
  • 2 tbspSesame Seeds
  • 3 tbspJaggery grated
  • as requiredSalt to taste
  • 3/4 tspTurmeric Powder
  • 1 tspRed Chilli Powder
  • 1 tspDhania Jeera Powder
  • 1.5 tspGinger Garlic Paste
  • 3/4 tspGreen Chilli Paste
  • 1/4 cupFresh Curd
  • as requiredWater for kneading the dough
  • as requiredOil for shallow frying

Steps

15 to 20 mins
  1. 1

    Take whole wheat flour, bajra flour, besan, fenugreek leaves, chopped fresh green coriander leaves, sesame seeds, grated jaggery, salt, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, dhania jeera powder, ginger garlic paste, green chilli paste in a big plate. Mix everything well.
    Add curd, mix well and gradually add water to make soft dough. Grease dough with little oil and keep aside.

    Divide the dough in equal 15 to 17 parts and make balls. Take one ball and roll into a little thick roti using wheat flour for rolling.

    Heat up the tawa on medium flame. Roast rolled roti using oil on medium flame till it turns golden brown in colour from both the sides. Repeat process for all the balls.

    Serve hot Methi Na Dhebra with mixed pickle, sweet pickle or chunda and enjoy. These Dhebra's can also be served warm or cold and tastes amazing with hot masala tea.
