Ingredients

3 people
  • 1/2 cupcoarsely ground bajri soaked in warm water for 4hrs
  • 1/2 cupgreen split moong dal soaked for 4hrs
  • 2 tbspghee
  • 1/2 tspcumin seeds
  • 1/2 tspasofedita
  • 5-6curry leaves
  • Green onion and its greens for garnishing

  1. 1

    Soak the coarsely ground bajri and moong in warm water for 4hrs

    Pressure cook them after 4hrs upto 5whistles. Or till its a semiviscous liquid

  3. 3

    In a pan, add ghee, curry leaves, cumin seeds, asofedita, then add the cooked khichdi

    Now add salt, turmeric powder and a cup of water. Mix well and cook stirring for 2-3mts

    Serve garnished with spring onion and its greens
