Slice all the vegetables into rounds.

Arrange the vegetable slices and basil alternately in a baking dish.

Brush the dish with olive oil.

Add the spices.

Pour in the tomato sauce (if it's too thick, add 1/2 cup water (about 120 ml)).

Bake for 30 minutes at 350°F (180°C).
