First peel the beetroot and cut small pieces. Take a grinder jar add beetroot pieces, green chillies, ginger and grind it into a smooth paste with little water.

Take a bowl add wheat flour, beetroot paste, salt, oil, cumin powder, and mango powder mix it well and knead a soft dough with adding little water. Apply some oil on dough and rest for 10-15 minutes.

Divide small lemon sized balls from the prepared dough. Now with the help of a rolling pin roll the dough ball into a small circle and sprinkle some sesame seeds and chopped coriander leaves on it. To make even theplas, cut with a ring cutter/ bowl.

Now heat up the pan, and place the thepla on it cook one side then flip and add ghee on it, fry on medium heat the both sides. Beetroot Thepla is ready.

Serve with curd or chutney.
