Easy Chocolate Pies

I made these chocolate pies with leftover ingredients from Valentine's Day, and I gave them as small gifts to a teacher who helped us a lot this term.
Once you finish the Step 6, bake them as soon as possible. Otherwise they won't puff up nicely.
The pies shrink when baked, so cut them slightly larger. For 10~12 pies. Recipe by Rikota

Steps
- 1
1 - Defrost the frozen puff pastry in the fridge (about 1 hour). 2 - Dust the puff pastry and roll out with a rolling pin to half its original thickness. 3 - Cut out into shapes of your choice (make the same shapes as you put 2 pastry pieces together). 4 - Brush egg yolk on the edges, and put 1 block of chocolate between 2 pieces.

5 - Put 2 pieces together, and firmly press the edges with a fork and pierce the tops. 6 - Brush egg yolk on the surface, sprinkle granulated sugar and top with sliced almonds. 7 - Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 15 minutes (adjust the cooking time, checking the pies so as not to burn).

8 - Cool a bit, and they are done!
