  2. 1 tspMustard seeds
  3. 1 tablespoonCumin seeds
  4. Pinchasafetida
  5. 1 tablespoonurud whole
  6. 1/2tspturmeric powder
  7. 1/2 cupPeanuts
  8. 1/4cupcurry leaves
  9. 4Green chillies, chopped
  10. 1inchGinger peeled and chopped
  11. Clovesgarlic, crushed (optional)
  12. 2cupsOnion, chopped
  13. 1cupTomato slices
  14. 1cupGreen peas+carrot (frozen)
  15. 3cupsSemiya, fried
  16. 1/2cupGreen bell pepper, diced
  17. 1/2cupRed red bell pepper. diced
  18. 1/2 cupyellow bell pepper. diced
  19. requiredSalt
  20. 1tablespoonButter
  21. 1/4cupCoriander leaves with stem, finely chopped
  22. 1cupRoasted cashews

    Add peas and carrots in a microwave safe bowl and microwave for 5 minutes
    Dry roast cashews in a microwave safe plate, microwave for 2 minutes

    Temper mustard seeds in hot oil in a pan over medium heat. Let mustard splutter. Then add cumin, urud, turmeric, asafetida powder, green chili, curry leaves; stir and add peanuts. Add ginger, garlic, onion, and bell peppers pieces and sauté; After sauteing well (4 minutes), add tomatoes and sauté for 4 minutes. Add semiya.

    After a couple of minutes, 2 cups curd +5 cups boiling water. curd gives a nice flavor. Add salt and stir. Reduce heat and cover cook for 10 minutes. Stir in the cooked peas and carrots, cover and cook for another 5 minutes, stirring occasionally to avoid sticking. After the butter is left over, add the butter and stir. Add chopped coriander cilantro. Turn off the stove.

    Garnish with cashews on top. Delicious uppumaa is ready. To taste. Transfer to a serving plate
