Napolitano Flan 😋

Flan dates back to Roman times, when it was made in both sweet and savory versions. The sweet version was much sweeter than what we know today, as it was sweetened with honey.

Steps
- 1
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- 2
Melt the sugar in a medium saucepan over medium-low heat until it liquefies and turns golden. Carefully pour the caramel into a baking dish.
- 3
Beat the eggs in a large bowl. Add the sweetened condensed milk, evaporated milk, and vanilla extract; whisk until smooth. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and cover with aluminum foil.
- 4
Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour. Let cool completely.
- 5
To serve, carefully invert onto a rimmed serving plate, as the caramel will run out. Enjoy!
