  • 4 lbscrab
  • 1large shallot
  • 1onion
  • Seasonings: 1 tablespoon lemon pepper, 1 tablespoon minced garlic, 2 teaspoons tamarind powder, 1 tablespoon sugar

    Clean the crab, cut in half, and steam until cooked. Thinly slice the shallot and sauté until fragrant, then add the crab and fry each piece until golden.

    Mix all the seasonings in a bowl. When the crab is evenly golden, pour the seasoning mixture into the pan with the crab. Finally, add the onion, sliced into wedges.

    Tamarind crab is a great snack, and the tangy tamarind sauce is delicious for dipping bread.
