Sesame fried cauliflower

Sesame Fried Cauliflower is a special, indulgent treat. Big, crunchy chunks of cauliflower are tossed in the same delicious Asian sauce used to glaze fried chicken. This is definitely a good sub for fried chicken.
Here cauliflower florets are coated in a flour-starch batter and deep fried. If you like extra crunchiness, you can double fry the florets. For this after the first frying, remove to cool and they refry the florets.
The florets are then coated with the Asian sauces along with ginger-garlic minced/chopped or paste. If you prefer you can add the ginger-garlic and sesame oil to the sauces and simply pour the sauce over the florets.
I preferred to saute the ginger-garlic in sesame oil and simmering the sauce for a bit before adding the cauliflower.
Finally, serve this topped with sesame seeds and green onion, as an appetizer, snack or a side to steam or fried rice.
