Add water, chicken and the paste in a pan and boil over medium flame for around 10 mins.

Discard the scum as much as possible and strain the stock.

Shred the chicken with a beater. Roughly chop the corn..

Beat the eggs. Beat the cornflour in cold water.

Add the spices, chopped corn, 3/4 of the boiled chicken and boil.

Add the cornflour slurry and the beaten egg while CONSTANTLY stirring. (If the water isn't scalding hot, the cornflour will not thicken the soup)

Turn off the flame immediately. Pour in bowls and garnish with rest of the boiled chicken, black pepper powder or chilli.
