Finally, I made it again. Everyone in my family specially my girl has been waiting for a long time. My workload and thinking of making 100, always gave me goosebumps. But fortunately, my girl, niece, and sister law agreed to make it with me. I made filling, knead the dough, and roll it. They played with shapes and enjoyed making them with me. Dumplings are not only a matter of eating, it’s a great connection and bond between loved ones. Together we made and together we had. #trendy

Firstly, chopped vegetable carrot, spring onion bulb, and cabbage. I didn’t have mince so I minced my chicken too.

Then heat up the pan and add spring onion white bulb, fry for seconds and add mince.

Mix it well. When the mince turns to white add ginger garlic paste.

Add salt and pepper. Cover it for a while and let it cook fully

Uncover and pour oyster sauce, soya sauce, chili garlic, and vinegar and mix it well. Let it dry and turn off the flame.

Start preparing the dough. Take a big bowl and put 3 cups flour and 1/2 tsp salt.

Pour a cup of warm water and start mixing it

Knead more and make a dough. Cut into 4. Make a ball and roll it like a chapati.

Take a round bottle cap and put on the chapati circle. Cut all the circles. Stuff the mince and fold it like a dumpling shape as per your choice. We made a “D shape”

Then we made impressions with a fork. Few of them we made ninja style and potli momos style.

Firstly, boil the water. Then put a few of the dumplings on the stainer and cover it. Uncover after 10mins, all are done. Remove it and do the same with the second trip. Better to make it in batches. Make chili soya dipping sauce or chili oil

Serve with chili oil and enjoy your dinner together with your loved ones.
