Korean Rest Stop Potato

This is a common snack in Korea found in rest stops, which is a salty and sweet type of roast potato. It sort of tastes like the Korean honey butter chip snack too.
This recipe only needs one pan with lid to cook.

Halves the baby potatoes and put them on the pan, cut surface facing down

Cook them over medium heat until it started to brown
- 3
Now pour the water in until it covers 1/4 of the potato, you don't need to use all the water.
Put the salt in too, after that cover and simmer for 5 minutes.

The water should evaporate by then, leaving brown bits at the bottom of the pan. Put in the butter and scrape the bottom of the pan.

Add sugar to coat the potato then cover with lid again, stir every 5 minutes over low heat.

Your potato should be done after 20 minutes of cooking time, you may cook it further if u want to caramelize it more.

Serve on plate and sprinkle with more sugar if preferred.
