I forgot to buy vinegar! And we are out of bay leaves!😪 So I tried looking for substitutes to compensate for it.. and it tastes aaaaaamaziiiiing!🫡

I forgot to buy vinegar! And we are out of bay leaves!😪 So I tried looking for substitutes to compensate for it.. and it tastes aaaaaamaziiiiing!🫡
Steps

Heat pan/wok on high.

Add cooking oil.

Saute garlic.

Add chicken, slightly brown, and set chicken aside.

Add pork, peppercorns, salt, oregano, and brown all sides.

Add soy sauce, vinegar, pickle juice and water.

Bring to a boil, lower heat, and simmer for 30 mins.

Add chicken back into the pan and let simmer for 1 hour or until tender and sauce is reduced.

Taste, adjust seasoning accordingly. Serve, share, and enjoy!

Stir occasionally to avoid sticking from the bottom of the pan.
