Ingredients

25 - 30 minutes
3 servings
  • 3 cupcooked Rice
  • 1medium Onion
  • 1medium Tomato
  • 1/2 cupdiced Carrot
  • 3/4 cupdiced Capsicum
  • 1 cupchopped Cabbage
  • 3-4Green Chilli
  • 1small Potato (pre boiled)
  • 1/2” Ginger
  • 6-7Garlic, 5-6 Cauliflower florets
  • 1/2 cupgreen peas (blanched)
  • 1/2-1 tspred chilli powder
  • 1 tbsp+ 1 tsp Pav Bhaji Masala
  • 1/2Lemon
  • 2 tbspButter
  • 1 tbspOil
  • Salt as required

Steps

25 - 30 minutes
  1. 1

    Roughly chop all veggies, cut potatoes into cubes.
    Blanch green peas and keep aside.

    Assemble ingredients

    Heat oil + butter in a tawa / Wok, add cumin seeds and let it crackle. Then add garlic ginger sauté for few seconds and then add onion and sauté till light golden yellow.

    Add carrot + green chilli + cauliflower florets and sauté for 3-4 minutes.

    Add capsicum, cabbage + salt and saute for few minutes till veggies turn soft yet crunchy. Cover and cook for around 2 minutes under low heat.

    Add tomato + potato + and sauté for 2 minutes.

    Add green peas also

    Add all spices + salt and stir well by adding little water.

    Stir fry till spices leaves oil, it takes around 3-4 minutes.

    Add rice, mix gently and cook for 6-7 minutes under medium flame, lastly switch off flame and add lemon juice. Cover it for around 1 minute.
    Tawa Pulao is ready.

    Hot and spicy Tawa Pulao is ready to serve with Masala Curd.
