Ate it at a Chinese restaurant. It's actually pickled cabbage soup. But I had no cabbage. At the restaurant it was a really hot soup with a huge flakey sole. Not a good picture. Sole is white and hiding under the greens.

Ingredients

2 servings
  1. 4 cupswater approx
  2. 2small sole filets
  3. 1 tablespoonsoy sauce
  4. 2 tablespoonslemon
  5. 1chopped pickle and tablespoon juice
  6. Salt to taste
  7. Chopped Leafy greens or cabbage. I only had greens
  8. 1/2 teaspoonwhite pepper. Unless you prefer less
  9. 1chopped garlic clove
  10. 1 teaspooncapers. (Other hot peppers, fine would be better)
  11. 1 tablespoonrice vinegar
  12. Cilantro
  13. 1bay leaf

Cooking Instructions

    Put 2 small sole filets in pan with cold water. Turn on heat high to almost bubbling then low. Add all ingredients including cabbage if using cabbage. Add spinach and cilantro at end.

    Cook fish approx 4 mns. Maybe turning them once. Check! Don't overcook!

    When fish is done take pan off heat. Add spinach, cilantro or precooked hardier greens. Serve.
