This is an amazing twist by me to the very popular dish using Chicken in place of Lamb meat or even Beef. Not only that, i have used three different Lentils too. Bengal Gram or Chana Daal, Pigeon Pea Lentils or Toor Daal and Red Lentils or Masoor Daal are used by me in this beautiful fusion. A very famous and a delectable preparation with Bengal Gram or Chana Daal and meat. It is a perfect side dish for Lunch and is a lovely accompaniment to Phulkas, Chapatis or Rotis and Parathas as well. It also goes well with plain boiled Rice alongside Rasam, Kadhi etc. It's a quickie in terms of cooking time. The only thing is to soak the Lentils for a good 2-3 hours. That's it. The rest of the process is pretty much easy. A sumptuous treat to the tastebuds, this Lentil and Meat combo is loved by many across the Country as well as in many neighbouring Asian Countries too.
A good source of Proteins and Carbohydrates, this one wins it hands down.
Happy Mealtimes Everyone!

To this add chicken bone-in and give them all a good mix. Cook on a low heat for about 15-20 minutes or until it's done. Keep stirring it at regular intervals. After done add in the cooked daal mix.
- 3
Mix gently until everything is combined well and garnish with lots of freshly chopped coriander leaves. Serve piping hot with rice or rotis. Enjoy!
