Ingredients

20-30mins
3+serves
  1. 1 cupBesan or Gram flour
  2. 1.5 cupCurd or Buttermilk
  3. 3-4garlic cloves crushed
  4. Salt to taste
  5. 1/2 tspturmeric powder
  6. 1 tspred chilli powder
  7. 1 tspcoriander powder
  8. 1 tspCumin seeds
  9. 1-2 tbspoil
  10. 1/4 tspAsafoetida
  11. Coriander leaves for garnish

Steps

20-30mins
  1. 1

    Take the Besan flour into the wide mixing bowl and add salt, turmeric powder and chilli powder bind the flour by adding very less quantity of water and prepare the Smooth dough add 1/2tsp oil and grease the dough as well as the machine of Sev.

  2. 2

    Now place the dough in the machine and keep aside

  3. 3

    Take the non-stick pan add oil and Cumin seeds and Asafoetida and fry the Buttermilk and let them give the boil by adding the water, add salt and the other spices and garlic paste.

  4. 4

    As soon as the buttermilk starts boiling start rolling the besan sev from the machine by rolling them round the buttermilk gravy quickly.

  5. 5

    We Don't have to touch the ladder for some time once the sev starts cooking and will come up by their own.

  6. 6

    After some time we can turn the ladder and mix them lightly. This should be cooked at medium flame for around 15-20mins

  7. 7

    We can check the Sev or Gathiya and accordingly cook for more or less time...

  8. 8

    Lastly add finely chopped coriander leaves and mix them well and do enjoy them with Bhakhari, Millets or Roti😍
