I wanted to make a healthy okonomiyaki.

For best results, use a plate when flipping over since it falls apart easily. Even if it does fall apart, just gather everything together with a spatula and it should stick back together and turn out nicely.

Ingredients

1 serving
  1. 1/2 blockTofu
  2. 1/8Cabbage
  3. 1Green onions (optional)
  4. 2 tbsp■Cake flour
  5. 2 tbsp■Katakuriko
  6. 1 dash■Salt and pepper
  7. 4 grams■Powdered bonito-based dashi stock
  8. 1Sesame oil (or vegetable oil)
  9. 1Bonito flakes, mayonnaise, ponzu

Steps

  1. 1

    Finely chop the cabbage and green onions.

  2. 2

    Mix the chopped onions and cabbage with tofu and ■ ingredients. Use the tofu as it is - no need to drain.

    Heat sesame oil in a frying pan. Pour in the batter from Step 2. Pan-fry both sides.

    It's ready to eat when both sides are nicely browned. Enjoy with ponzu and mayonnaise.
