Ingredients

  • 1 packpaneer i used Tesco brand
  • 2 tbspcorn flour
  • 2 tbsptomato ketchup
  • 2 tspsoy sauce
  • 1/2 tspchilli powder
  • few cloves of garlic chopped
  • 2dry red chilli chopped
  • 1/2onion cut into chunks
  • for garnishing chopped coriander, spring onions n green chilli
  • 1/2 tbspChilli sauce

Steps

  1. 1

    Cut paneer into cubes size pieces, coat well with corn flour then deep fry until crispy, put in a kitchen paper to drain extra oil

  2. 2

    To make the sauce, in a bowl add ketchup, soy sauce, chilli powder, I added extra garlic powder i had but optional and chilli sauce 1/2 tbsp mix everything well

  3. 3

    In a pan heat tbsp oil add chopped garlic and crushed dry chilli sauté until garlic becomes lightly brown then add onion cook about a minute then add sauce

  4. 4

    Cook the sauce with other ingredients for a minute or two add two tbsp water to keep the sauce a bit runny, taste the sauce if need salt then add it,when sauce starts to become thicker add the fried paneer coat well with sauce, garnish with chopped coriander, spring onions n green chilli, serve hot
    By the way i did not have spring onions but this dish does need it for flavour
