Make in a Pan! Okonomiyaki with Lots of Tempura Crumbs

I bought a 50 yen pack of tenkasu, so I made okonomiyaki.
We mix the pickled ginger into the batter, rather than putting it on top of the pancake. For 28 cm [11.0 in] frying pan worth. Recipe by Aokoro

Cooking Instructions
- 1
Shred the cabbage.
- 2
Finely chop the green part of the green onion.
- 3
Mix the water, flour, soy sauce, and dashi stock granules. Don't leave any lumps. The amount of water is approximate...
- 4
50 yen worth of tenkasu!
- 5
Add the chopped white part of the green onion, tenkasu, and pickled ginger to the batter. Add the shredded cabbage too, and mix together to incorporate lots of air.
- 6
Spread vegetable oil in a pan, pour in the batter and top with the pork belly slices and 1/2 of the green part of the green onion. The heat should be set fairly low. Cover with a lid and cook until it's about 70% done.
- 7
Turn the pancake over and cook for the other 30%. Check to see that the pork is cooked, and scatter on the rest of the green part of the green onion.
- 8
Top with lots of bonito flakes and okonomiyaki sauce while the okonomiyaki is still in the pan. It will sizzle.
- 9
It's difficult to flip a 26cm okonomiyaki. If it falls apart, just be creative with the presentation (the photo shows how I hid my failure).

Miso-Flavored Fried Tempura (Okonomiyaki) Miso-Flavored Fried Tempura (Okonomiyaki)
My grandma often made this for me for lunch. You can use whatever you want for the ingredients, but it smells good if you add sakura shrimp. I use homemade country miso. Please reduce the amount of miso according to the saltiness of the miso you have. An amount that makes you wonder if it is enough is actually the perfect amount. The miso easily burns, so you should reduce to low heat after coating the okonomiyaki. My Original Pan-Fried Okonomiyaki My Original Pan-Fried Okonomiyaki
We've been eating this okonomiyaki for years.-If you knead the batter while mixing, okonomiyaki will have sticky texture, so mix gently by lifting from the bottom of the bowl.-When you are eating, If you have the pork slices on top, they will come off easily, so I place the okonomiyaki pork-side down.-Please don't press the batter. Just adjust the shape after pouring the batter in a pan. For 2 okonomiyaki pancakes. Recipe by Puru berry cookpad.japan -

This is a regular dish in my house.Step 3: You can cook half the batter at a time (In that case, use 3 eggs).Step 4: If it's too difficult to flip over, cook the egg in a different pan and put that on top of the okonomiyaki.Step 5: Make about 5 shallow cuts on the surface of the okonomiyaki with a spatula to let out the steam. You can also use 1/2 teaspoon Japanese soup stock + water instead if you'd prefer. Okonomiyaki with Lots of Cabbage Okonomiyaki with Lots of Cabbage
In Kansai, the cabbage is the star of an okonomiyaki pancake, and the batter just holds it together. The batter is not the star. It's kind of like a cabbage pancake, with a crispy surface and a light and fluffy inside. I think a simple okonomiyaki with just squid and pork tastes the best.1. Use as little batter as possible, just enough to hold the cabbage together.2. Cover the pan with a lid to cook through. For about 6 pancakes. Recipe by kei57 cookpad.japan -

I learned this from my wife. Adding lots of nagaimo yams is the trick! You can also add sakura shrimp, konnyaku, and chikuwa. The amount of nagaimo yams used is the deciding factor. You could add more if you wish. Add as much cabbage and green onions as you like. The batter doesn't use much flour, so you don't have to worry about it cooking all the way through! You just have to brown it. For 3 okonomiyaki pancakes. Recipe by Momokapapa cookpad.japan -
