Whisk sugar and eggs.

Add sunflower oil and milk and whisk again.

Add the flour, cocoa, baking powder, vanilla, lemon peel and whisk again.

Grease the cake mold and pour the cake batter.

Sprinkle cracked hazelnuts on top.

Bake in a preheated 180 degree oven for 30 minutes.

Add all the ingredients for the sauce to the pot and stirring until it boils. And then let it cool down.

After removing the cake from the oven, let it rest for 5 minutes and then slice. Pour the cooled sauce over the cake and let it rest until the cake absorbs all the sauce.
