Ingredients

30-45 minutes
4 servings
  1. 1 headcabbage (chopped)
  2. 1/2white onion (chopped)
  3. 2green onion (chopped)
  4. 3 cupscooked white rice (or cauliflower rice if looking for low-carb option)
  5. 1/2 teaspoonpepper
  6. 4Fried eggs
  7. Teriyaki sauce (Recipe linked)
  8. Vegetable oil
  9. Furikake seasoning or sesame seeds to top (optional)

Cooking Instructions

30-45 minutes

    In a large sauté pan add 2 tablespoons of oil. Add white onion, cabbage, and pepper. Cover with lid and stir occasionally. Remove from heat once cabbage and onions are tender.

    Cook rice according to package instructions, then distribute the rice between bowls and set aside.

    In a separate pan add 3 tablespoons of oil. Once oil is heated carefully pour in eggs. Cover with a pan lid. Allow eggs to cook until the whites are set (firm) and the yolks are done to your liking. Once done, remove the eggs from the pan.

    Take your rice bowl and add cabbage mixture, lay your fried egg on top. Add chopped green onion, and Rice seasoning to your liking. Drizzle teriyaki sauce or soy sauce over the dish. Enjoy!
