This recipe is based on our own tastes since the kids don’t like classic moussaka with eggplant! This dish is easy, quick, and absolutely delicious.

Sauté the ground beef, then add the tomato sauce, salt, pepper, and a little cinnamon. Add just enough water to cover the meat and simmer until the liquid is absorbed.

Slice the zucchini and potatoes. Start layering them in a baking dish. Place the potatoes on the bottom to absorb the juices from the zucchini, sprinkle with feta or kefalotyri cheese (or both), then add the zucchini on top. Pour the cooked ground beef over the layers.

Finally, prepare the béchamel sauce according to the package instructions and spread it over the top. Bake in the oven at 340°F (170°C) with fan for about 1 hour, until golden and the juices have been absorbed.
