In 10 minutes! Simmer Fish Like a Pro ! -Flounder-

I wanted to easily cook simmered fish using the same amount of ingredients to make the sauce.
Decide your best simmering time, since each kitchen is different. If you are using big fish or thick fillet, use 400 ml of water and increase the seasonings to 4 tablespoon each. For as much as it fills the frying pan. Recipe by Naomoka

Steps
- 1
In a frying pan, combine all of the ingredients except the fish. Bring to a boil, then add the fish of your choice. When it comes to a boil, cover with a small lid that fits right on top of the fish (a drop lid or otoshi-buta) and simmer for 7-9 minutes and it's ready.
- 2
The heat is about this strong. It's almost on high heat. Go as high as you can without making it boil over.
- 3
As shown on the photo, make a hole in the center of an aluminum foil to release the steam and simmer. Do not touch the fish.
- 4
After about 8 minutes, the sauce has boiled down to 1/3 and it's ready! It's very quick! Make sure you don't simmer for too long!
