Ingredients

20 minutes
4 servings
  • 1/2 bowlMoong chhilka dal
  • Water as required for soaking dal
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/4 tspRed chilli powder
  • 1/4 tspCoriander seeds powder
  • 1/4 tspGaram masala
  • 1/2 tspCumin seeds
  • 1Onion
  • 1Tomato
  • Chopped coriander leaves 2 tb sp
  • 2Green chilli

Steps

20 minutes
  1. 1

    Wash and soak dal for 4 hours. Discard water and grind it to a paste. Mix all the masala ingredients.

    Chop onion, tomato, green chilli and coriander leaves and mix in dal. Add 1/2 tsp eno powder and mix.

    Now grease an appe pan and fill each cavity with 1tb sp mixture and cover the lid and cook for 5 minutes on low flame. Flip the side and cook from the other side.

    Serve hot with chutney
