My mother told me about this popular kintsuba. I hadn't tried them yet, but imagined what they may be like and made it. My mother said they were "yummy!" so I wrote this recipe.

Slice the sweet potato into 5 mm thick slices and soak in water to get rid of any bitterness.

Put the drained sweet potatoes, milk, and sugar into a pot. Turn on the heat.

When it comes to a boil, turn the heat to medium-low. Keep cooking for 12 to 15 minutes until softened.

Put the flour into a bowl. Stir it with a whisk until there are no lumps.

Mash the sweet potato. It's easy to use a masher. You can also use a fork or a spatula.

Mix well.

When mashed enough, add the flour.

Put the mixture on plastic wrap, roll the dough out, and cook for 4 minutes in microwave at 730w.

Form the shape with sushi mat. Leave it until cooled, then chill it in the fridge for 30 minutes. It's easier to cut and hold the shape when cold.

Line a toaster oven tray with parchment paper and arrange the sweet potatoes on top.
