Gobindobhog Rice Kheer

This is the first time I have tried this kheer and it turned out such a delicious and Wholesome one!

Gobindobhog Rice Kheer

First, wash and soak the rice in water for 1 hour. Then drain it well.

Prepare a sugar syrup with 1 cup sugar and 1/2 cup water. Let it reach single thread consistency.

Then heat ghee in a saucepan. Add the rice and saute it for 2 min on low flame. Then add 1/2 cup water mixed with milk and let it simmer till rice is cooked and soft

Add the sugar syrup, caramel syrup and kesar and cook on low flame till aromatic. Add chopped nuts to garnish and serve!
