Preheat oven to 150c/300f/ gas mark 2. Beat margarine and sugar in a bowl use a wooden spoon for about 5 minutes. Until mixture is light and creamy

Gradually stir in flour followed by the nuts so mixture is loose consistency

Press into a greased cake tin using back of wooden spoon and bake for 30 mins

Remove from oven and cut into slices whilst still hot in tin. But leave to cool before turning out
