  2. Salt 🧂 { a pinch 🤏 of }
  3. 1 cupbuttermilk, chilled

    1. Pour milk 🥛 and salt 🧂 into a saucepan and heat till bubbles appear around the edges. Do not boil.

    2. Pour hot milk 🥛 into the chilled buttermilk, add herbs of your choice and mix well. Rest for an hour. You will see the whey separate from the mixture.

    3. Pour it into a strainer lined with a single layer of cheesecloth, cover with the overhang and sit overnight or at least 8 hours. You can keep 10 -12 hrs outside also

    4. The cheese 🧀 will be ready in the morning.

    5. Store cheese in an airtight container for 3-4 days in the refrigerator.

    6. You can add black pepper, mint, garlic 🧄 & chili flakes
    Flavored cream cheese spred is ready to serve

    Note ~
    Great healthy alternative to cheese on your morning toast.
    Season the cheese as desired and use as a filling in samosa or spring roll sheets.
    Crush black olives or sundried tomatoes and garlic and mix into this cheese and serve as a dip with breadsticks or crackers.
