Steps

Take the soya chunks in a bowl. Pour hot water over it.

Add salt and stir it. Let it sit for about 30 mins.

After 30 mins, the soya chunks will be soft and plump.

Squeeze out the excess water from it and transfer it to a different bowl.

Add turmeric powder,red chilli powder,garam masala powder, salt, ginger garlic paste, lemon juice and pinch of asafoetida in it and Mix everything together.

Add gram flour, rice flour and corn flour.Mix everything well enough, to coat each soya chunk.

Now, heat enough oil on medium flame to deep fry it.

Slowly drop the soya chunks individually so that they do not stick with each other.

Fry until they are golden brown in color.

Serve it hot with tomato ketchup.
