Bacon-wrapped Asparagus Bacon-wrapped Asparagus
I tried making these without cooking the asparagus first, but it took longer to cook, and the bacon tended to burn. I tried boiling the asparagus first, but then I found that microwaving was faster, and so I came up with this recipe.Pre-cooking the asparagus and carrots in the microwave reduces the amount of frying time, so the bacon doesn't burn as easily and looks appetizing. For 4 servings. Recipe by Kawakamisan cookpad.japan -

I had some bacon, but didn't want to go to the trouble of making bacon-wrapped asparagus, so I made something which was easy and quick. It's very easy. Once you've turned the heat on, fry quickly so you don't fry it too much! The aromatic garlic and the umami of the bacon really bring out the tastiness of the asparagus. For 1-2 servings.
