Jicama Fries

A low starch veggie air fried to delicious faux french fries. On my quest for healthier alternatives I made these and can't get enough. So simple and truly satisfy a " fry" craving.

A low starch veggie air fried to delicious faux french fries. On my quest for healthier alternatives I made these and can't get enough. So simple and truly satisfy a " fry" craving.
Steps

Trim the out peel from the jicama.

Cut peeled jicama into a large cube. Then cut it into 1/4" slices.

Cut the 1/4" slices into thirds. Your looking for square cuts.

Spray jicama with olive oil spray and then lightly sprinkle with Himalayan salt.

Place even layers onto air fryer rack.
- 6
Cook on air fry 400 degrees for 30- 40 minutes. Keep an eye on them. You want a light golden color. After removing from the oven give them another light spray of olive oil and a touch more of salt.

Serve up as is or with your favorite condiment.
