I love stir-fry food made in Wok. I like to use a lot of vegetables; these are crunchier and easy to cook. You just need to have the necessary ingredients.

Ingredients

40 minutes
3 servings
  1. sauce
  2. 2 Tbsp.Oyster sauce
  3. 2 Tbsp.Soy sauce
  4. 1 tsp.sugar
  5. 1 Tbsp.Chinese rice wine or regular
  6. 1 tsp.Cornstarch
  7. quinoa with shitake mushroom stems
  8. 3/4 c.3 colors quinoa
  9. 1and 1/4 c. boiling water
  10. 1/4 tsp.Salt
  11. Sliced mushroom stems
  12. 1/4 c.sliced scallions
  13. INGREDIENTS FOR STIR-FRY
  14. 1 lb./ 450 gr. Shelled and deveined shrimps
  15. 1 Tbsp.Vegetable oil
  16. 1 Tbsp.Sesame oil
  17. 2minced garlic cloves
  18. 2 tsp.minced ginger
  19. 5 oz./ 150 gr. Broccoli florets
  20. 8 oz./ 225 gr. Shiitake mushrooms strips, save stems
  21. 1/2red bell pepper, diced
  22. 3/4 c.scallions, sliced

Cooking Instructions

40 minutes

    Cut and measure the ingredients needed for the recipe.

    SAUCE
    In a bowl, mix well all the ingredients for the sauce.

    QUINOA PREPARATION
    In a small saucepan place the Quinoa ingredients together and cook at moderate heat, for about 15 minutes until it absorbs the water.

    STIR-FRY
    Heat a wok with a bit vegetable oil and stir-fry the shrimps until they turn pink, do not overcook them because they will be hard. Reserve on a plate.

    Reheat the Wok, add the sesame oil and quickly cook the garlic with the ginger.
    Add and stir-fry the vegetables. Add a tablespoon of water to create a little steam to help cook the vegetables.

    Add the sauce, shrimps, scallions and heat up.

    Serve with quinoa.
