Modak is a favourite sweet of Lord Ganesha.Traditionally it is made with rice flour and filled with fresh coconut, jaggery and cardamom.I have made it with all-purpose flour and wheat flour.The best part is that I have made it in Air fryer.

Steps

Mix all-purpose flour, wheat flour and Desi ghee.Add water little by little to make puri like dough.Let it rest for 5 min.

Heat 1 t.spoon. ghee in a pan,add coconut, jaggery, poppy seeds and jaifal.Cook it for 3-4 min.Let it cool.Add nutmeg powder and mix.

Now take a small portion from the dough,make a ball,roll it like a puri,place coconut mixture in the center and close it from all the sides.Keep it in the Modak mould and press.You will get a modak.Prepare all the modaks like this.

Brush 6 modaks with the help of a brush.Bake it in an air Fryer for 10 min. at 180 degree.Your yummy and healthy modak is ready to eat.
