Easy to make stir fry that tastes delicious with easy substitutes to make it lower calorie and low carb. Perfect by itself or with a bed of rice.

Ingredients

30 minutes
5-7 servings
  1. Beef seasonings
  2. 2 poundsthin cut beef
  3. Salt
  4. Pepper
  5. Garlic powder
  6. Onion powder
  7. Ginger powder (optional)
  8. Vegetables
  9. 2 tbspolive oil
  10. 1 1/2 cupsbroccoli
  11. 1 cupbaby carrots (in 1/3rds)
  12. 1 cupwhite onion (sliced)
  13. 1/2 cupwhite mushrooms (sliced)
  14. 2 tbspgarlic (minced)
  15. Sauce
  16. 1/3 cupless sodium soy sauce
  17. 1/2 tbsptoasted sesame seed oil
  18. 1 tbspGinger
  19. 2 tbspbrown sugar/brown sugar substitute
  20. 1 tbspgarlic (minced)
  21. 1 tspsesame seeds (optional)
  22. 2 tspXantham gum/cornstarch (optional)

Cooking Instructions

30 minutes

    Wash and cut all vegetables to desired size. Set aside.

    Add all sauce ingredients in a bowl and whisk until incorporated. Set aside.

    Preheat pan with 2 tbsp of olive oil on med-high heat. Season both sides of the beef with seasonings to taste. Cook beef until both sides have a good sear. Remove from pan and slice beef to desired length. Set aside.

    Lower to low-med heat. In the same pan add onions and cook for 1-2 minutes. Add remaining garlic, cook until fragrant. Add remaining vegetables, cook 2-3 minutes.

    Add sauce and beef into pan with vegetables. Cook until desired doneness/ sauce thickness. Top with sesame seeds and enjoy!
