To be honest I have no idea how much beef I used but it served 4 and it was great! I've made this so many times already and never paid attention to how much I used of everything, I go free style on most of the things I make, so anyways you can add more or less of all this depending on what you like.

Ingredients

  1. Beef steak, or any beef cut of your choice
  2. Olive oil
  3. 1onion sliced or diced
  4. 1LG green pepper,sliced
  5. 1LG tomato, chopped
  6. 1 clovegarlic, minced
  7. 1/4-1/2 cupMushroom Soya sauce
  8. DashWorcestershire sauce (optional)
  9. as neededWater
  10. 1heaping tbsp Corn starch (optional)
  11. to tasteSalt and pepper

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Add some olive oil in a large skillet and heat, add sliced beef and saute/stir fry until browned. Add salt and pepper. Set aside

    Take another pan and saute the pepper, garlic and onion in olive oil.

    Put the meat on hight heat, mix the cornstarch (if using) into 1/2 cup water and add to the meat. *Note* if you don't add cornstarch the sauce stays thin.

    Add in Soya sauce and Worcestershire sauce if using, bring to a boil, add more water at this point if you want lots of juice to it.

  5. 5

    Toss the sauteed pepper mixture in to the meat. Add more salt and pepper if needed, serve with rice, mashed potatoes, noodles or even fries.

As a kid I told my teacher I'd grow up to be a chef, well that didn't happen but I'm a chef in my own kitchen and that's great.
