Ingredients

  1. 24 gramspork gravy mix
  2. 1 tablespoonpoppyseed
  3. 1/2large onion diced
  4. 8 cupsall purpose flour
  5. 1/4 cupchopped bacon
  6. 2/3 cupdiced smoked ham
  7. 3-1/2 teaspoonbaking powder
  8. 2 teaspoonssalt
  9. 1 teaspoongranulated garlic powder
  10. 1/3 cupunfiltered extra virgin olive oil
  11. 1/3 cuphoney
  12. 3-1/2 cupwater
  13. As neededoil to fry in

Cooking Instructions

    Add the flour and dry ingredients to a bowl.

    With the dry ingredients added dice the onion and add to the bowl.

    Chop the bacon, dice the ham, add the olive oil and honey.

    Start heating the oil. Mix in the water. Form flat little patties the size of the diameter of a baseball. They don't have to be perfect round. Deep fry in the hot oil.

    Move to paper towels to absorb excessive amounts of oil. Fry in batches. If you don't need to use all the dough, you can freeze it for 6 weeks. Serve I hope you enjoy!!!
