Ingredients

  • 1large bunch of parsley
  • 1 handfulfresh mint leaves
  • 1/2 bunchgreen onions (can be replaced with one regular onion, which is what I did)
  • 2tomatoes
  • 1large lemon
  • 3 tablespoonsfine bulgur
  • Salt
  • Olive oil

Steps

  1. 1

    Clean and wash the vegetables. Finely chop the parsley, onions, and mint. Squeeze the lemon.

  2. 2

    In a serving bowl, place the bulgur, then finely chop the tomatoes over it. Add the lemon juice and let the ingredients sit so the bulgur absorbs the flavors.

  3. 3

    Add the chopped vegetables to the mixture, then season with salt and add olive oil. Mix all the ingredients until well combined, and it's ready to serve.

  4. 4

    Serve with lettuce or cabbage leaves.
